It’s a new type of fuel and it’s becoming more popular lately. And it’s definitely something to consider. Gel fuel, being of a solid consistency, is ideal for hikers, survivors and nature enthusiasts.

Gel fuel won’t spill or leak, as it’s not in a liquid state.  This makes it a much easier item to work with, as it wouldn’t leak when you have it in your backpack.

This article will also introduce you to the idea of making your own gel fuel at home. Beware though – gel fuel may not leak, but it’s still fuel and will burn you if you’re not careful. Handle it with caution just like you would any other fuel.
