Don’t pay a penny making your own DIY water filter

Most commercial water filters are quite expensive. They may need special fittings to use, something you may not have when in a survival situation.

Sometimes, having your own home-made tool or item, is much better, it is free (or at least cheap), and you benefit from the knowledge to be able to sustain yourself. With that said, here’s a video that shows you how to make your own water filter with free material, so basically this filter won’t cost you a thing.

It takes a little time to make it and then to filter the water, but once you do that, you can reuse the filter several more times, before it’s recommended to substitute the ingredients.

Once you know how to make this filter, you can make it from scratch in the wilderness. The only requirement is that you have a plastic bottle or some other similar container. The other ingredients can be found readily in the wild.
