Do You Know How To Use Paracord For An Axe Handle Wrap?

This video will show you how easy it is to wrap an axe handle with paracord.

This technique not only looks attractive but it also have allows you to quickly release the paracord within seconds, which makes it serving a double purpose in survival situations.  It also has a safety element as it makes the user’s grip quite tight on the handle and prevents the axe from slipping in wet weather.

You will need the following:

• A piece of paracord – depends on the length of the axe handle.
• A rubber band to prevent the cord from moving.
• A pair of scissors or lighter.
• Some beeswax to rub the finished handle.

As you can see there is not much needed to make this handle wrap. Now let’s get to it!

To finish this project it’s highly recommended to shrink the wrap in hot water and then rubbing wax onto it to make it more resistant to wear and sweat, as well as providing a better grip.
