Here’s how they measured distance in the military

In the military, sometimes measuring the distance isn’t done the same way as we do it in our daily lives. There are regularly meters or foots and inches and what is often called, ‘paces’.

There is a formula which you can use to measure the distance you had walked.  It is basic but this information might be vital in certain situations.

Of course, it’s not a perfect system like a GPS or similar tech gadgets, but at least it will never fail you. It doesn’t require batteries, no need to press buttons, or tweaking it to make it work.

You will need some time and practice to learn to use this method, but once you do, it will come naturally to you.
