Learn how to properly take care of your beehives so you keep the bees fed and warm
After each year about 1/3 of all your bees will have died. No matter how well you have taken care of them, sometimes some beehives don’t make it through the winter months.
Nonetheless, you can still make sure you keep them well-fed and provide them with enough water.
All bee-keepers will feed their bees with carbohydrates (sugar or syrup) and mix it with water. You need to keep the proportions exact, so take note of the measurements, and don’t make experiments unless you’re absolutely sure about what you’re doing.
You can quickly give them the newly made syrup without exposing the bees for too long to the cold. After all, they still need warmth to survive until the first warm days start rolling.
